Anyone wanting to visit Sweden from Denmark by car can do so by crossing over the Oresund Bridge and Denmark also runs many ferries that take cars. Denmark also has a good rail network and travelling by train to Sweden is another alternative for anyone not wanting to drive the distance. Other countries such as Iceland, Norway and the Faroe Islands can all be reached by ferry from Denmark and usually takes about 16 – 18 hours. Many tourists fly to Denmark first to see the main sights before moving on to Norway to see the spectacular fjords. However, the easiest way of seeing any of the Scandinavian countries is by plane and flights are available from most European airlines to the main cities.
